The Measures and Support Division within the Ministry for the Economy, European Funds, and Lands has launched a scheme for the digitalisation of micro businesses.

This incentive is specifically designed to assist microenterprises through non-repayable Grants to part-finance investment to digitalise their operations. Eligible investments are:

Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS)
Hardware (such as Laptops, Docking Stations, Port Replicators, Monitors, and Tablets)
Cloud computing
Training costs on the use of the specific item acquired under points 1 to 3 above and included in the purchase price of the item in question, and thus from the same provider.

The maximum funding amount is €10,000 per investment and part-financing eligible expenditure is up to 50% for investments in Malta and 60% for investments in Gozo.
