Dear esteemed clients, Kindly note that following a notice issued by the Malta Business Registry every Company is now required by virtue of Article 69(1)(d) of the Companies Act to indicate in its Memorandum the electronic mail address of the Company. The relative notice is reproduced here in English and Maltese – https://mbr.mt/2022/07/06/advise-to-companies-to-provide-adequate-electronic-mail-address/ Such an address shall be utilised for all official electronic correspondence and notifications to be sent by the Registrar to a Company, alongside the physical registered office address. For this reason, it is important that the electronic mail address provided is a valid address accessed by the company’s officers on a regular basis. Companies are also being notified that an adequate electronic mail address that is accessible to all the company officers, is to be provided to the Malta Business Registry by a set date - 30 September 2022. This is to be done by either filing an updated memorandum and articles of association, or by sending a formal letter to the Registrar to the attention of Ms. Stefania Baldacchino. Should you require this Office to assist you with this update, kindly contact Ms. Antonia Zammit, our Corporate Services Manager at antonia.zammit@dfkmalta.com by the 16th of August 2022. |
