Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Audit Assistant to join our growing team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build a career in auditing while gaining hands-on experience across a diverse client portfolio. You will support senior auditors in delivering high-quality audit engagements, including financial, operational, and compliance audits.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of audit assignments
- Support the preparation of financial statements
- Evaluate internal controls and verify financial data
- Perform audit testing and document findings
- Ensure tasks are completed accurately and within deadlines
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of accounts/accounting
- Currently pursuing or interested in pursuing ACCA accreditation
- Strong interest in auditing
- Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset
- Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and motivated
- Ability to work under supervision
- Fluency in English is required
- Currently based in Malta
