DFK Malta, in partnership with our client, is hiring a Senior IT Technology Consultant to join a leading technology solutions provider with offices in Malta and London, specializing in software and digitization solutions that drive business efficiency and digital transformation.
Job Description
As a Senior IT Technology Consultant, the right candidate will be leading key projects within the Business Solutions team. You’ll drive the integration of modern technology with business needs, guiding IT teams and stakeholders through complex initiatives. This role requires strong technical knowledge, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate business goals into effective tech solutions. Role and Responsibilities
- Lead IT projects end-to-end, ensuring deliverables are met on time and aligned with business goals.
- Identify digital transformation opportunities and guide clients through change initiatives.
- Drive process optimisation and help design innovative technology solutions.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels and act as a trusted technology advisor.
- Conduct on-site client meetings, workshops, and solution discussions.
- Work on solution design, configuration, sales, installation, and occasional support.
- Utilise previous development experience (2–3 years) and manage SQL database installation and maintenance.
- Ideally contribute to software sales or business development efforts.
- Demonstrate senior-level consulting experience with a proven record of delivering complex IT projects.
Requirements
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
- Fluency in Maltese and English and access to own transport.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Solid understanding of enterprise architecture, business analysis, and project management.
- Familiarity with industry standards, compliance requirements, and emerging technologies.
- Relevant certifications (CBAP, PMP, ITIL) are a strong advantage.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree considered an asset.
