Job Description
The Logistics Coordinator will report to the Logistics Manager and coordinate one Logistics Executive. The company is an established international organisation in Malta, operating within the chemical industry.
Role and Responsibilities
- Responsibilities
- Plan and manage logistics, incoming goods.
- Plan and manage logistics, outgoing goods.
- Interpret customer schedules use historical customer usage data to order and stock safely.
- Order in time to stock at Company calculating applicable lead times, transportation route and optimum shipped quantity involving management were necessary.
- Communicate with freight forwarders from freight quotations to actual execution of orders.
- Inform and provide store keeper with adequate documentation for checks of incoming goods.
- For outgoing goods, inform and provide store keeper with delivery note and any additional note or document necessary to effect delivery of product to customer base.
- Prepare customer usage reports and trends for adequate monitoring of customers and adequate stock.
- Monitor stock in relevant warehouses, issue invoices according to usages and provide basis for adequate stocking.
Requirements
- Requirements
- Previous office experience in similar to distributor organization.
- Previous experience in logistics and distribution.
- Ability to plan and coordinate movement of goods from order to supplier to delivery to customer.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
- O level certificate, can do attitude and ability to learn.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Maltese.
- Currently based in Malta.
