DFK Malta, in partnership with our client, is hiring a Junior IT Technology Consultant to join a leading technology solutions provider with offices in Malta and London, specializing in software and digitization solutions that drive business efficiency and digital transformation.

Job Description

As a Junior IT Technology Consultant, you will support multiple projects and help integrate technology solutions with business strategies. Working alongside senior team members, you'll coordinate with IT teams and business stakeholders to design and implement projects that align with organizational goals. This role requires a strong understanding of both business processes and technology, along with excellent communication and strategic thinking skills. Role and Responsibilities
  • Show eagerness to learn and work with new technologies.
  • Support the delivery of IT projects on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals.
  • Identify opportunities for digital transformation initiatives.
  • Assist in optimising client business processes through innovative IT solutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by aligning business needs with technical possibilities.
  • Attend on-site client meetings and workshops regularly.
  • Apply previous development experience (1–2 years) and manage SQL database installation and maintenance.
  • Participate in solution design, configuration, sales, installation, and occasional support.
  • Contribute to successful delivery of IT projects and business improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluency in Maltese and English, with access to own transport.
  • Knowledge of system architecture is considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with industry best practices, compliance standards, and emerging technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Certifications such as CBAP, PMP, or ITIL are highly desirable.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree considered an asset.
