Job Description
As a Finance Manager, the selected candidate will report to the CFO and assist with the department’s daily financial operations. This is an exciting opportunity for qualified accountants seeking to join a stable and solid company.
Role and Responsibilities
- Preparing management accounts and internal reports.
- Handling VAT, tax, and statutory reporting.
- Assisting in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow statements.
- Managing customer and supplier invoicing processes.
- Overseeing payment processes and performing bank reconciliations.
- Supervising day-to-day operations of the Finance department.
- Liaising with external auditors and consultants.
- Identifying and implementing financial process improvements.
- Ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and key deadlines are met.
Requirements
- A minimum of three years of experience in a similar role.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Maltese.
