In partnership with our client, we’re seeking an Event Manager to join an investment migration company specializing in the global arena of investment migration. They bring together key stakeholders in the field, set global standards, offer professional qualifications, and publish high-demand research aimed at governments, policymakers, international organizations, and the public.

Job Description

As an Event Manager, the right candidate will be responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and execution of the company’s global events portfolio. This includes flagship annual conferences, regional workshops, training seminars, and high-level roundtables. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and comfortable working independently within a small team environment.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Plan, manage, and execute in-person and virtual events from concept to completion.
  • Oversee event logistics including venue selection, vendor coordination, travel arrangements, AV setup, and on-site delivery.
  • Coordinate speaker invitations, briefing materials, and presentation logistics.
  • Develop and manage event budgets, timelines, and post-event evaluations.
  • Liaise with internal teams (comms, membership, policy) to ensure events align with strategic goals.
  • Manage event registration platforms and attendee communications.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the member experience through event formats and delivery.
  • Maintain event databases and reporting for stakeholders.
  • Travel to international event locations as needed (estimated 4–6 trips per year).
Requirements
  • Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in event planning and management.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality, international events (small to mid-size preferred).
  • Strong project management and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Experience working in a membership-based, nonprofit, or international organization a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite, or similar).
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a small, collaborative team.
