Job Description
As an Accounts Executive, the right candidate will join the finance department, reporting directly to the Finance Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing billing and payment processes, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations. Strong communication skills are essential, as the role requires regular collaboration with other departments and clients to ensure smooth financial procedures and cross-functional support. Role and Responsibilities
- Accounts Management: Handle accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts.
- Closing Activities: Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Invoice Processing: Process invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements.
- Audits: Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
- Budgeting: Support in budget preparation and forecasting.
- Collaboration: Work with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Other Tasks: Perform other duties as required within the scope of the role.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an accounting/financial role.
- Excellent communication skills and keen attention to detail.
- Fundamental accounting knowledge, supported by a minimum of an A-level qualification in accounting.
- Proficient in IT skills, including the Microsoft Office suite and Excel.
- Experience with Shireburn Indigo software would be considered an advantage.
- Demonstrates a proactive approach, strong motivation, and a positive professional attitude.
